persica 7’ The Persian Lilac - a captivating and completely charming large shrub or small tree with flowing, arching habit and loose panicles
of silvery mauve flowers. The scent is antirely captivating during June.
Although it makes a good free standing shrub of elegant, loose habit it
is possibly even nicer trained against a wall or trellis. Said to have been
cultivated in England as long ago as 1640 but very little seen in gardens now.

josikaea 8’ The Hungarian Lilac is a choice and very worthwhile
species with highly scented pale purple flowers in generous cascading
panicles.

Lilac which is itself highly elegant and beautiful, made even
more valuable for its late flowering which goes on well into July, long
