ROBINIA
Plant a Robinia for fresh lacy Summer loveliness
- and flowers too!
These are well known and popular trees attractive in flower and
foliage. Hardy and suitable for any normal soil, they excel in dry and
Sunny situations. Fairly hardy but appreciate some shelter to give of
their best.

Pink Cascade 8’ A Robinia grown for its flowers rather than its foliage,
although the long green pinnate leaves are still beautiful. In June and
July of each year this remarkable small tree produces long drooping
clusters of large deep pink flowers. In flower it looks just like an
amazing pink Wisteria tree! A sight not easily forgotten ... A very
lovely specimen, easily accommodated and highly recommended.

psedoacacia Frisia 8’ A very outstanding smaller tree for the effect of
its drooping sprays of brilliant golden yellow fern like foliage
throughout the growing Season. Very well known and always popular,
but seems to be very variable in its ultimate size.
£20.95
pseudoacacia Lace Lady 5’ A new tree for the patio or smallest bed
with very compact habit and curiously, twisted, contorted branches
clothed in delicate ferny leaflets. An attractive curiosity and talking
point.
£29.95
pseudoacacia Umbraculifera 8’ The ‘Parasol’ or ‘Mop Head’ Robinia.
This small standard tree is a little different. Typically a Robinia with
its lush divided green leaves, but with a very neat and formal rounded head
which makes it ideal for the patio bed, courtyard or anywhere a formal punctuation is required - perhaps a row spread through a long border
or driveway. Always neat and attractive, immensely valuable.
