Large wide spreading trees of interest both for their handsome large
leaves and catkins. Most soils are suitable and particularly grand next
to water.
fraxinifolia 14’ Although not especially fast growing will ultimately
form a large tree with a thick, buttressed trunk. This member of the
walnut family has long, luxuriant and divided glossy green foliage and
pendulous green catkins in the Summer. A beautiful tree which
deserves greater appreation.
